Enterprise Calle 50 Car & Van Hire

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement. An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers. The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.



 

 

Customers must pre-arrange after hours service in advance. After hours service is available at some locations at a cost of 25.00 USD.

 

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23 and the maximum rental age is 70 years. Drivers between the ages of 23 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

 

Driving restricted within the country of Panama only.

Delivery and Collection not available. Customers can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off of vehicle in advance. Customers must contact the rental office directly upon arrival.

Pick-up/drop off is available at no additional cost for 0-2 miles

Pick-up/drop off is available at a cost of 20.00 USD for 3-15 miles

Pick-up/drop off is available at a cost of 30.00 USD for 16-25 miles

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental.  One way charges cannot be prepaid.

Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The hire location requires purchase of CDW-TP to hire a vehicle, unless you present written proof that your credit card provides collision and theft protection in Panama or you purchase the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP), which includes CDW-TP. The hire company will not accept personal insurance or insurance sold by third parties as a substitute for purchasing CDW-TP. If you purchase CDW-TP, the hire company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, after the excess, during the hire period in Panama unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the hire agreement. An excess of up to 3,500.00 USD applies, depending on car class. A police report is required to action this coverage (transit and police authorities accordingly).  If CDW-TP and EPP are both declined, the hirer is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.

Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Tyre and Windshield Protection (TWP), Third-Party Liability (TPL) and Excess Protection (EP) at a discounted price. EPP is not insurance. If you purchase EPP, the hire company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle (including tyres and windshield) and up to the policy limits for damages and injuries to third parties during the hire period in Panama subject to the actions listed on the hire agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the hire agreement. No excess applies for CDW-TP, TWP and TPL. An excess of up to $3,500 USD will apply in the event of partial or total theft of the vehicle, depending on car class. A police report is required to action this coverage (transit and police authorities accordingly.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1 - Prepay Fuel

This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas.

Option 2 - We Refill

This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharges will apply.

Option 3 - You refill

This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

 

Full and valid driver's license from country of origin. Passport and major credit card required for identification.


 

Personal Accident Coverage (PAI). The purchase of personal accident coverage is optional and is not required in order to rent a vehicle. Personal Accident Insurance covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit maximum limit of 5,000.00 USD for the driver and 3,000.00 USD for each passenger. Also includes a life insurance of 50,000.00 USD for the driver and 25,000.00 USD for the passengers.
 

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. Credit Cards honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®. An authorization on the credit card of approximately 30 percent or a minimum charge of 300.00 USD will apply for Economy to Compact and a minimum of 500.00 USD for Midsize and above will be authorized on credit card upon rental of vehicle of the rental charges plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges. Debit/Check cards are not accepted at this location. Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club®, logo. Cash is not accepted at this location.

 

Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) If selected and paid for at the time of rental, Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without additional charges. RAP includes towing (not related to an accident, flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

 

All valid drivers must meet the locations minimum age requirements. They must present a valid driving licence. They must present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental. This location accepts notarised Chinese driving licences. International drivers must provide a valid licence from their country of residence. In addition to the driving licence, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international driving permit is recommended. If the driving licence is in characters other than Latin, an international permit is required or a notarised English translation is accepted.

Third-Party Liability (TPL) — In Panama, the purchase of TPL is required by the hire company unless you purchase the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP), which includes TPL. Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, under the local hire car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection, unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the hire agreement. Liability insurance purchased on third-party travel websites and insurance that accompanies US credit or debit cards may not provide coverage in Panama. A police report is required to action this coverage.
