How is damage assessed on a car hire?

Short answer

To ensure that you are not charged for minor scratches, we measure the damage using our damage assessment tool.

Long answer

Enterprise believes that users should not pay for normal wear and tear on the vehicle. We use our damage assessment tool to make sure you are not charged for every small scratch. If any dents, holes or scratches are smaller than the appropriate circles on our tool's template, they will not be counted as damage of any kind. If there is any damage to your car hire vehicle, please contact the car  hire branch or follow the instructions in the rental agreement.
