Can I hire a car with cash or a money order in Canada?
Some Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations in the United States may accept cash or money orders to secure a car hire transaction. To get specific requirements or to find out if the location you wish to hire from allows cash or money orders, please contact the location you are hiring from directly.
Cash qualification requirements
- Two current utility bills (examples: water bill, gas bill, or an Internet/cable bill)
- Your most recent payslip
- A minimum deposit plus the entire cost of the car hire at the time of pickup.

- Proof of insurance
- Personal references
- For security reasons, the branch may ask for people they can contact to verify who you are and where you live. They will need full names and phone numbers.
Credits owed back to the customer will typically be credited back to their account within 15 business days.
